The Nestelbach is a brook in Eastern Styria in Austria . The water rises on the Laßnitzhöhe and the Schemerlhöhe and flows through the communities Nestelbach ( Graz-Umgebung district ) and Gleisdorf ( Weiz district ).

Geographical location

The Nestelbach rises at two source locations in the area of ​​the municipality of Nestelbach near Graz . A spring is located behind the sports field of the elementary school on the Schemerlücken. The second rises in a small side valley at the foot of the Buckelberg near the municipality of Laßnitzhöhe . The two source streams unite a few hundred meters after the town center to form the actual Nestelbach. The almost five-kilometer-long stream runs largely along the A2 motorway and flows into the Laßnitzbach , a tributary of the Rabnitz , which finally flows into the Raab , at km 4.9 in the municipality of Gleisdorf near the village of Laßnitzthal .
