Neumühle is a district of the Mühlhausen market in the Erlangen-Höchstadt district in Middle Franconia .

geography

The wasteland, consisting of a residential building and several outbuildings, is located on the Albach , which flows directly to the south as a left tributary into the Reiche Ebrach . To the northwest of the village near the Steinernes Brücklein corridor area, this feeds a few ponds. To the west of the town there is an industrial area of ​​Mühlhausen, 0.2 km to the southwest is Simmersdorf . Otherwise, the area consists of arable and grassland. A local road leads to Mühlhausen (0.2 km east).

history

The mill was probably built in 1783 instead of the old mill near Simmersdorf mentioned in 1327 .

Towards the end of the 18th century, Neumühle was part of Simmersdorf. The high court exercised the Bamberg center Wachenroth . The landlord of the mill was the Katharinenspital Bamberg. The mill was house number 28 in Simmersdorf.

As part of the community edict, Neumühle was assigned to the Mühlhausen tax district formed in 1808 . In the same year the rural community Mühlhausen was formed, to which the place belonged.
