The house Neustädter Kirchhof 4 is a Grade II listed building in the town of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

It is located in the historic Quedlinburg Neustadt on the north side of the Neustädter Kirchhof and is entered in the Quedlinburg Monument Register as a sexton house. A sign on the house indicates that it belongs to the Steinweg 70 house to the north .

Architecture and history

The two-storey half - timbered house was built in the early Baroque period around 1680. It served as the house of the sexton of the St. Nikolai Church to the south . The half-timbered structure of the building is kept simple. The half-timbered figure of the half man can be found in the corner compartments . The compartments are provided with an unusual form of decorative lining. In addition, there are pyramid beam heads . Renovations were carried out in the 18th and 19th centuries.
