Nevzat Yalçın
Nevzat Yalçın (born September 1, 1926 in Polis Chrysochous ; † October 31, 2012 in Halver ) was a Turkish writer who lived and worked in Germany since 1971 .
His studies of Turkish language and literature in Turkey were followed by a stay in England . Before he began working as an English teacher in Germany in 1971 (retired in 1986), Yalçın was a university lecturer , radio broadcaster and editor of the literary magazine Hisar in Ankara .
He published poems, essays and short stories in German, e. B. in The Sun and the Man (1997).
Nevzat Yalçın also read poems by Annette Gonserowski for a German audio book ( Emotions , 1999).

- Alfred Müller Felsenburg Prize for "upright literature" (1989)
