New Germany is a place in Carver County in the US state of Minnesota . In 2010 the place had 372 inhabitants.

According to the United States Census Bureau , the city has an area of ​​1.7 km², all of which is land. County Roads 30 and 33 are two of the main roads in New Germany, Minnesota State Route 7 passes by the place.

At the time of the United States Census 2000, New Germany was inhabited by 346 people. The population density was 205.5 people per km ². There were 147 housing units at an average of 87.3 per km ².
