Niamh Bhreathnach

Niamh Bhreathnach (* 1. June 1945 ) is an Irish politician of the Labor Party .

Bhreathnach belonged to the 27th Dáil Éireann from 1992 to 1997 . During this time she was Minister of Education from January 12, 1993 to November 17, 1994 and again from December 15, 1994 to June 26, 1996.

On June 13, 1997 she was nominated by Taoiseach John Bruton in the 20th Seanad Éireann . She was no longer a member of the 21st Seanad Éireann, which met again in September of the same year.
