Nichlas Falk (born February 3, 1971 in Stockholm ) is a former Swedish ice hockey player and current coach .

Career

Nichlas Falk began his career as an ice hockey player at Huddinge IK , for whose professional team he was active from 1988 to 1995 in Division 1 , which was still second at the time . He then moved to Djurgårdens IF from the Elitserien , for which he played continuously for the following 16 years. In the 1997/98 season, the attacker failed with the capital city in the playoff final for the championship at Färjestad BK . The left-handed shooter then joined the Djurgårdens IF in the 1998/99 season on an international level in the European Hockey League , but was eliminated with his team in the group stage. In 2000 and 2001 Falk was able to become Swedish champions with the team from Stockholm . After defeating Brynäs IF in the 1999/2000 season, the center and his team were able to return the favor the following year for the 1998 final defeat at Färjestads BK.

Following the 2010/11 season , he ended his career and was assistant coach for the U18 juniors at Djurgårdens IF for the following season.

International

For Sweden , Falk took part in the 1991 Junior World Championships and the 1997 , 1998 , 1999 and 2002 World Championships .
