Nichlas Hardt (born July 6, 1988 in Rødovre ) is a Danish ice hockey player who has been under contract with the Malmö Redhawks in the Svenska Hockeyligan again since 2016 .

Career

Nichlas Hardt began his career as an ice hockey player in his hometown in the youth division of the Rødovre Mighty Bulls , for which he was active until 2005. The attacker then switched to Herlev IC , for whom he made his debut in the AL-Bank Ligaen , the highest Danish league, in the 2005/06 season , scoring six points in 35 games, including two goals. After another two seasons in Herlev, the left shooter ended the 2007/08 season at Tappara Tampere from the Finnish SM-liiga , with which he reached third place in the playoffs. In the SM-liiga he was the first Dane in league history. He was then signed by the Malmö Redhawks from HockeyAllsvenskan , the second Swedish league, for which he was on the ice for three years.

For the 2011/12 season Hardt returned to the SM-liiga and received a contract with Jokerit Helsinki . For Jokerit he completed almost 160 games in the SM-liiga in the following three game years. With the inclusion of Jokerit in the KHL Hardt left the club and switched to Linköpings HC in the Svenska Hockeyligan , two years later to the Malmö Redhawks .

International

For Denmark , Hardt took part in the junior division in the U18 Junior B World Championship in 2006 , the U20 Junior B World Championship in 2007 and the U20 Junior World Championship in 2008 . In the senior sector, he was in his country's squad at the A-World Championships in 2008 , 2009 , 2010 , 2011 and 2012 .
