Nicholas Kipruto Koech

Nicholas Kipruto Koech (* 1982 ) is a Kenyan long-distance runner who specializes in road running.

In 2005 he won the Meiningen City Run over 10 km and took second place at the same time as the winner Alexander Lubina at the Bietigheim New Year's Run . In the following year he won the Frankfurt City Half Marathon , the Greifensee run and the Murten run . In 2007 he finished second in the Kerzerslauf , seventh in the Paderborn Easter run and won the Leverkusen half marathon , before winning the Lucerne city run and the Kassel city ​​run as well as the half marathon race at the Bonn marathon in 2008. When he won the Prague Half Marathon in 2009, he set a course record with a time of 1:00:07 h.

Nicholas Kipruto Koech is the younger brother of long-distance runner Pamela Chepchumba .
