Nicholas "Nick" Hagglund (born September 14, 1992 in Cincinnati ) is an American football player on the position of defender .

Career

Youth and amateur football

Hagglund played football on his university's college team while at Xavier University . In 81 games he scored four goals and prepared eleven more.

Club career

Hagglund was chosen as the tenth pick in the first round of the 2014 MLS SuperDraft by Toronto FC . He made his competitive debut on April 5, 2014 in a 2-0 win against the Columbus Crew . On September 27, 2014, he scored his first two goals in the game against the Portland Timbers . In that game, his team turned 2-0 behind and won 3-2.

Hagglund was transferred to FC Cincinnati on January 23, 2019.
