Nicola Leibinger-Kammüller
Nicola Leibinger-Kammüller (born Nicola Leibinger on December 15, 1959 in Wilmington , Ohio, USA) is a German manager and functionary . She is the CEO of the mechanical engineering company Trumpf .
Life
In 2005, Berthold Leibinger († 2018) handed over the chairmanship of the management of Trumpf to his daughter Nicola Leibinger-Kammüller. The PhD philologist - she studied German, English and Japanese studies in Freiburg , Vermont and Zurich - was a member of the Council for Innovation and Growth and the Scientific Commission of the Science Council . She is Vice President of the Donors' Association for German Science , a member of the Senate of the Max Planck Society and Fraunhofer Society, and the University Council of the Technical University of Munich . Leibinger-Kammüller is also a member of the board of trustees of the Robert Bosch Foundation , chairwoman of the Friends of the German Literature Archive in Marbach , a member of the supervisory board of Siemens AG and Axel Springer SE, and a member of the board of trustees of the Academy for Spoken Word in Stuttgart. She is also a member of the advisory boards of Landesbank Baden-Württemberg and BW-Bank .
In April 2020 Leibinger-Kammüller became a member of the 12-person "Corona Expert Council" convened by Prime Minister Armin Laschet . The committee of twelve renowned experts from different disciplines is to work with the state government of North Rhine-Westphalia to develop strategies for the time after the corona crisis .
Private
Leibinger-Kammüller has been married since 1984 and has four children.
