In 1742 the place with most of Silesia came to Prussia. The place was mentioned in 1783 in the book Additions to the Description of Silesia as Nieborowi (t) z , belonged to a Count von Wengerski and was in the Tost district of the Principality of Opole . At that time he had three farms , eleven farmers, 26 gardeners , six cottagers and 263 residents. Later the place changed from the district of Tost to the district of Rybnik. In 1865 Nieborowitz consisted of a village and a manor. The manor belonged to a Herr Rosse. The place had 66 households at that time. Some of the residents went to work in the nearby mines and smelting works. The students were enrolled in German Zernitz.
In the referendum in Upper Silesia on March 20, 1921, 114 people eligible to vote in town voted for Upper Silesia to remain with Germany and 124 for membership of Poland. At Gut Nieborowitz, 82 voted for Germany and 27 for Poland. After the division of Upper Silesia in 1922, Nieborowitz remained with the German Reich . But the majority of the Rybnik district came to Poland, the small part that remained with Germany was distributed to the neighboring districts. On January 1, 1927, the place came to the district of Tost-Gleiwitz. In 1936 the place was renamed Neubersdorf in the course of a wave of renaming during the Nazi era . Until 1945 the place was in the district of Tost-Gleiwitz .
In 1945 the previously German town came under Polish administration and was then attached to the Silesian Voivodeship and renamed Nieborowice in Poland . In 1950 the place came to the Katowice Voivodeship . In 1999 the place came to the re-established Powiat Gliwicki and the new Silesian Voivodeship.
