history

The Niederbarnimer Railway Company procured this vehicle together with the T 1 . The railcar was intended for multiple control with the four-axle railcar from a driver's cab; it was also intended to be used as a solo vehicle for operation with two light passenger cars . The railcar proved its worth, but the company had to wait until 1935 for further cars to be procured due to the tight financial framework.

The railcar was ordered in October 1933 and accepted in June 1934. It came to the Deutsche Reichsbahn in the GDR after 1945 and was designated as VT 135 553 . From 1955 to 1965 Templin is specified as the deployment site , on January 1, 1970 it was based in the Stralsund depot . In 1970 the railcar was retired and scrapped a year later in the Wittenberge repair shop .
