Weather rule

In connection with sneezing, a weather rule that is also claimed for Lucerne's local mountain, Pilatus , is quoted:

If the sneeze has a hat, the weather will be fine and fine.
If the sneeze has a collar, you can still dare.
But if he has a coat and sword on, there is storm wind and rain.

Sneeze shadow

Shadow pyramid

Between November 20th and January 20th, the Niesen casts a huge, exactly pyramidal shadow on the municipality of Spiez when the weather is clear . The sun disappears from 2 p.m. behind the Niesen summit. Later it reappears on the western side of the mountain. It then seems as if the sun will roll down the mountain. The phenomenon is greatest on December 21st.
