Nieto Sobejano Arquitectos is an international Spanish-German architecture firm with studios in Madrid and Berlin , which was founded by Fuensanta Nieto and Enrique Sobejano in 1984.

Fuensanta Nieto studied at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and graduated from Columbia University in New York City. She is a professor at the Universidad Europea de Madrid .

Enrique Sobejano studied at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and graduated from Columbia University in New York City. Since 2008 he has been a professor at the Chair for Experimental Design and Fundamentals of Design at the UdK Berlin .

From 1986 to 1991 they were together directors of the Spanish architecture magazine ARQUITECTURA, published by the COAM in Madrid.

The office was founded in Madrid in 1984. The Berlin office opened in 2007. The areas of responsibility include museums, hotels, conference and commercial buildings as well as office buildings and single-family houses as well as urban planning. The architects have won numerous prizes in national and international competitions and have been honored with numerous awards for their work.

In addition to publications in international journals and books, the office's work was exhibited at the Biennale di Venezia in 2000, 2002, 2006 and 2012, at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) New York in 2006 and at the Kunsthaus Graz in 2008. In 2008 they received the National Price for Restoration from the Spanish Ministry of Culture and in 2010 the Nike , awarded by the Bund Deutscher Architekten (BDA), as well as the Aga Khan Award for Architecture , the Piranesi Prix de Rome 2011, the European Museum of the Year award and the Hannes Meyer Prize 2012.

The company took first place in the ranking of international architecture firms in BauNetz (as of 2013).
