Nightflyers is an American television series on the station Syfy , which is based on the book of the same name by George RR Martin from 1980, but is heavily based on its first film adaptation from 1987. Internationally, the series has been available since February 1, 2019 from the streaming provider Netflix , which is also involved in the series as a co-producer.

In February 2019, Syfy discontinued the series after a season.
