Nikola Klyusev

Nikola Kljusev [ ˈnikɔɫa ˈklusɛf ] ( Cyrillic Никола Кљусев ; born October 2, 1927 in Štip ; † January 16, 2008 in Skopje ) was a Yugoslav or Macedonian economist and politician .

Life

He studied at the University of Belgrade and became associate professor of economics at the University of Skopje in 1968 and full professor in 1972 . He was the first prime minister after independence and was in office from January 27, 1991 to August 17, 1992. During this tenure he was non-party . After this tenure he joined the VMRO-DPMNE . From 1998 to 2000 he was Minister of Defense .
