Nikolaikapelle

Nikolaikapelle ( Nikolauskapelle ) is the name of several chapels of artistic and architectural significance that are consecrated to Nikolaus (Nicolaus, Latin. Gen. Nicolai) of Myra . St. Nicholas patronage can be found both in the original seafarers' chapels in numerous German, Baltic and Russian port and Hanseatic cities as well as in inland places of worship in former merchant quarters or donated by merchant communities. Chapels consecrated to Niklaus von Flüe can be found under Brother Klaus Chapel .
