Nina Sosanya

Nina Sosanya (born June 6, 1969 in London ) is a British actress .

Life

Nina Sosanya was born in London to an Englishwoman and a Nigerian. She completed her acting training at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance. The theater actress, whose distinctive appearance is the spaced apart front incisors, has played in a large number of feature films and especially television productions since her film debut in 1992. The role of Annie, assistant to the British Prime Minister portrayed by Hugh Grant in the hit 2003 comedy Love Actually , also made her internationally known. In 2008 she returned to the Royal Shakespeare Company to play Rosalinde in Love's Labor's Lost . In 2009 she appeared with the radio version of a story from the short story collection The State of the Art . She plays the role of Kate Brockman in the television series Silk . In 2012 Nina Sosanya also appeared in the comedy television series Twenty Twelve , which caricatures the organization of the 2012 Summer Olympics in London.
