Noel Harrison
Noel John Christopher Harrison (born January 29, 1934 in London , United Kingdom , † October 19 or 20, 2013 in Devon , England ) was an English singer , actor , and Olympic skier . He was the son of British actor Sir Rex Harrison and his first wife Collette Thomas .

Noel Harrison had several children, Cathryn, Simon, Harriet, Chloe and Will. His brother was Carey Harrison . Equestrian Leslie Law was his son-in-law.
youth
As a teenager he joined the Ipswich Repertoire Theater Group, taught himself to play guitar, but his main interest was sports. He spent a large part of his free time skiing in Switzerland . He became a member of the British ski team at an early age and was the first British national champion in giant slalom in 1953 . He represented Great Britain at the 1952 Winter Olympics in Oslo , Norway and the 1956 Winter Olympics in Cortina d'Ampezzo , Italy .
Harrison did his military service, and after leaving the army toyed with the idea of becoming a journalist. But essentially he concentrated on playing the guitar. His early breakthrough came with a regular appearance on the BBC show Tonight , where he was part of the team that sang the daily news in a calypso style.
At the age of 20 he became a professional musician, including in a Greek restaurant in London. He has also made live appearances in bars and nightclubs across Europe, including appearances at the Blue Angel Club where a show was recorded for a live album .

Harrison died after a heart attack at his home in Devon, England, a few hours after performing on the evening of October 19, 2013.
