Noelia Martínez (born January 20, 1996 ) is an Argentine sprinter .

Athletic career

Noelia Martínez gained her first experience at international championships in 2012 at the South American Youth Championships in Mendoza , where she won the bronze medal in the 100-meter run in 12.50 seconds and the silver medal over 200 meters in 24.56 seconds. She also won the silver medal in the Argentine sprint relay (1000 meters) in 2: 13.95 minutes. The following year she reached the youth world championships in Donetsk in the 200-meter run to the semifinals, in which she was eliminated with 24.43 s, while she was eliminated over 100 meters with 12.13 s in the lead. She then won the bronze medal over 100 meters at the Junior South American Championships in Resistencia in 11.72 s and finished fifth over 200 meters in 24.27 s. In addition, she won the bronze medal in the Argentine 4-by-100-meter and 4-by-400-meter relay in 46.64 seconds and 3: 56.30 minutes, respectively. In 2014 she took sixth place over 200 meters at the U23 South American Championships in Montevideo in 24.54 s, did not finish with the 4 x 100 meter relay and was with the 4 x 400 meter relay disqualified. The following year, she was fourth over 200 meters in 24.53 s at the Junior South American Championships in Cuenca and won the silver medal in the 400-meter run in 55.35 s.
