Nonnhof is a district of the Middle Franconian municipality of Alfeld in the district of Nürnberger Land .

History, inhabitants and location

The village of Nonnhof is located 2.3 km south of the core town of Alfeld on the edge of the Hersbrucker Alb and came to the municipality in 1975. The district has 79 inhabitants and around 45 buildings, is surrounded by fields and meadows and was previously part of the Upper Palatinate . Alfeld became Central Franconian as early as 1911. To the south of Nonnhof is the federal motorway 6 ( Nuremberg - Prague ) with the Alfeld junction and to the east is the state road 2236 and the “Am Vogelherd” industrial park. Nuremberg can be reached by car after 39 kilometers.
