Norbert Walter (born July 1, 1979 in Berlin ) is a former German national volleyball player .

Career

Norbert Walter played for SCC Berlin until 2001 , with whom he won the DVV Cup in 2000. He then took part in the European Championship in the Czech Republic with the senior national team , in which he had been active since 1999 . Then he moved within the Bundesliga to VfB Friedrichshafen , with whom he won the double in 2002 and won the DVV Cup again in 2003. After the European Championship in Germany , Walter went abroad. In 2003/04 he played for Unimade Parma , the following season also in Italy for Itas Diatec Trentino . In 2005 he moved to the Aon hotVolleys in Vienna . A year later he went to France to Montpellier UC . In 2007 Norbert Walter went to Belgium to Knack Randstad Roeselare , before he finally returned to Italy in 2008 with the Canadiens Mantova . With the national team he reached ninth place at the 2006 World Cup in Japan .
