Council of Ministers of the GDR (1967–1971)

The Council of Ministers was in office from July 13, 1967 to November 26, 1971.

On July 13, 1967, the newly formed Council of Ministers of the GDR met for its constituent session. At the suggestion of the Chairman of the Council of Ministers, Willi Stoph, the Council of Ministers decided to set up the Presidium, which included the Chairman, the 12 Deputies of the Chairman, the Minister of Finance Siegfried Böhm and the Chairman of the Agriculture Council Georg Ewald.
