The FFH area Northeastern Tauberlandpark is with regulation of the Regional Council of Stuttgart after the Directive 92/43 / EEC (Fauna and Habitats Directive) be trained reserve (reserve identifier DE-6424-341) in Main-Tauber-Kreis in the Frankish coined the northeast Baden-Württemberg . The FFH area is part of the European Natura 2000 network of protected areas .
description
The FFH area includes steep slopes with a rich structure east of Tauberbischofsheim in the Taubertal and its side valleys with partly extremely dry locations, outstanding species inventory and species-rich deciduous forests on the plateau on the Tauber from Lauda to Tauberbischofsheim .
Protection purpose
The following habitat types according to Annex I of the Habitats Directive occur in the area:
- Limestone (semi) dry lawns and their stages of shrubbery (* orchid-rich stands)
- Lean, lowland hay meadows
- Limestone cliffs with crevice vegetation
- Alder, ash and softwood alluvial forests
- Bedstraw-oak-hornbeam forests
- Grove beech forests
- Woodruff beech forests
- Juniper stands on dwarf shrub heaths or limestone lawns
- Base-rich or lime pioneer lawn
- Running waters with flooding aquatic vegetation
- Natural and near-natural nutrient-rich still waters with spawning or frog-bite communities
