owner
Radio NORA was practically completely owned by other media providers. 25.4% belonged to R.SH / Regiocast , 10.2% owned delta radio , 8.69% Radio Hamburg , also 8.69% Radio ffn and 2% belonged to the Lutherische Verlagsgesellschaft Kiel .
history
Radio NORA had been on the air since December 31, 1995. In the beginning it was mainly German pop music mixed with some international classics from the 1960s and 1970s. The broadcaster wanted to position itself as a younger alternative to NDR 1 Welle Nord . Over the years, the hits were completely removed from the program and replaced by English-speaking oldies. At the end of the 1990s, the station adopted the motto "Oldies and Evergreens". Current hits were no longer broadcast.
Since 2004 the program format has been rejuvenated and expanded in the direction of "oldiebased AC ". The motto was now “The most beautiful 70s. Most of the 80s. ” Current hits from the last few years were scattered into the program. The music shouldn't be out of line with the older target group. Radio NORA organized the Radio NORA Oldie Night on Segeberger Kalkberg annually , in which international artists performed. This was called 2010 the night of hit legends and 2011 rock'n-pop night .
Since 2014 the "Radio NORA Summer Open Air" has been taking place on the south beach of Eckernförde .
Until it was discontinued in May 2016, Radio NORA broadcast together with Radio Schleswig-Holstein (R.SH) and delta radio from the Kiel Radio Center, the former Wittland radio station.
