Nordholz is a district of the city of Bückeburg in the district of Schaumburg in Lower Saxony and is not far from the western border with North Rhine-Westphalia .

Geography and transport links

The district is located northwest of the city center of Bückeburg on the district road K1. The Schaumburg Forest extends to the north . The Bückeburger Aue flows south of the village . South-east lies the 65 ha large nature reserve Bückeburger lowlands in which the remains of the medieval fortifications Hus Aren , including Castle Arnhem , formerly Arnhem called, are . The B 482 runs to the west and the B 65 to the south . The Mittelland Canal runs past the northern edge of the village.
