The Bückeburger Niederung is a nature reserve in the Lower Saxony city ​​of Bückeburg in the Schaumburg district .

The nature reserve with the sign NSG HA 141 is 65  hectares in size. It is located north of Bückeburg and protects a central section of the Bückeburg lowlands, a large-scale lowland landscape with contiguous grassland areas influenced by groundwater . The valley is traversed by the Bückeburger Aue , which regularly floods the area during floods.

The meadow nbereiche are partly open, partly by hedges , bushes and willows small areas divided. The nature reserve is of particular importance as a habitat and resting place for endangered bird species that rely on this landscape.

The area has been a nature reserve since September 7, 1989. The responsible lower nature conservation authority is the district of Schaumburg.
