The Auhagener Schier is a nature reserve in the Lower Saxony municipality of Auhagen in the Schaumburg district .

The nature reserve with the sign NSG HA 037 is 14  hectares in size. It lies roughly between Auhagen and Hagenburg and protects an older and moderately moist oak-hornbeam forest in which there is a colony of gray herons . The forest area has a species-rich herb layer and a well-developed forest coat .

The nature reserve is surrounded by agricultural areas , some of which are included in the nature reserve. In the east it borders on state road 445.

The area has been a nature reserve since April 13, 1972. The responsible lower nature conservation authority is the district of Schaumburg.
