Berenbusch is a district of the city of Bückeburg in the district of Schaumburg in Lower Saxony and is located directly on the western border with North Rhine-Westphalia .
Geography and transport links
The district is located northwest of the city center of Bückeburg directly on the Mittelland Canal , which runs past to the north, and is connected to this federal waterway with the port of Berenbusch . The Bückeburger Aue flows on the western outskirts . The Schaumburg Forest extends to the north . South-east lies the 65 hectare large nature reserve Bückeburger lowlands . The B 482 runs to the west and the B 65 to the south .
