Norman Alden

Norman Alden , born Norman Adelberg (born September 13, 1924 in Fort Worth , Texas , † July 27, 2012 in Los Angeles , California ) was an American actor and voice actor .

Life

Norman Alden served in the United States Army during World War II . With the help of the GI Bill of Rights , he then studied acting at Texas Christian University . He then played at the theater for several years before appearing increasingly in smaller roles in various television series in the mid-1950s. As an actor and voice actor, he has appeared in almost 250 different film and television productions, such as Der verrückte Professor (1963), Tora! Torah! Torah! (1970) and Back to the Future (1985). At the age of 82, Alden retired from acting in 2006.

Norman Alden passed away on July 27, 2012 at the age of 87. He had two children from his first marriage to Sharon Hayden, a grandson and his life partner, with whom he lived for 25 years.
