Novalukoml (also Novalukomal ; Belarusian and Russian Новалукомль ) is a city in the south of the Belarusian Wizebskaja Woblasz with about 12,800 inhabitants (2019).
The village, which was founded in 1964 in connection with the construction of a power plant, is located in the Chaschniki district on the 3682 hectare Lukomlskoye Lake. Novalukoml has had city status since 1970.
Nowalukoml has two grammar schools, three kindergartens, a palace of culture, a sports complex, two libraries and a children's art school. The power plant in the city has a capacity of 2640 MW and is the most powerful power plant in the north-western region of the CIS. The plant employs more than 2000 people, which is a third of all workers in the city. Clay, sand and gravel are also mined and there are mineral water springs. There is also water tourism and fishing on Lake Lukomlskoje.
Nowalukoml southwest is located 108 km of Woblasz -Hauptstadt Vitebsk and 177 km north-east of the state capital Minsk .
