Novomykolajiwka ( Ukrainian Новомиколаївка ; Russian Новониколаевка Novonikolajewka ) is a village in the Ukrainian Oblast of Zaporizhia with about 2100 inhabitants (2001).

The village, founded in 1818 by immigrants from the provinces of Yekaterinoslav and Tauria , is the administrative center of the eponymous, 203.219 km² district council in the west of Melitopol Raion with a total of 3048 inhabitants (2016), to which the villages Zelenchuk ( Зеленчук , ) with about 40 population, Pershotravneve ( Першотравневе , ) with about 110 inhabitants, Pivdenne ( Південне , ) with about 20 inhabitants and Schidne ( Східне , ) with a population of about 60 as well as the settlement Trudowe ( Трудове , belong) with about 680 residents.

The village lies on the banks of the Taschtschenak ( Тащенак ), a 64 km long tributary of the Molotschna-Liman of the Azov Sea , about 20 km northwest of the Rajonzentrum Melitopol and about 140 km south of the Oblastzentrum Zaporizhia .

Through the village runs the territorial road T-08-05 .
