Nutrixxion Abus (formerly Nutrixxion Sparkasse or Team Sparkasse , UCI abbreviation TSP ) is a German cycling team that was founded in 2004 and was based in Dortmund . The namesake came from the food manufacturer Nutrixxion and the manufacturer of security technology ABUS . The team did not apply for a license as a UCI Continental Team for 2014 and registered with the Association of German Cyclists .
Team manager is Mark Claußmeyer, sporting director Viktor Hamann. The team mainly relied on young drivers, but also signed the new German road champion 2006 Dirk Müller in mid-2006 .
The Continental Team was operated by CCS Germany GmbH , which also managed the UCI Women's Team Abus Nutrixxion .
2010 season
In the 2010 racing season, the Nutrixxion team achieved eleven wins and 23 additional podium places, making it the most successful German professional team. Of these, four wins and nine other podium places were not achieved until September and October. Dirk Müller was just as successful with his victory in the China Tour and the Pomerania Tour in Poland , which he won in front of his teammate Kim Lachmann , as well as the Münsterland Giro , in which he came second by escaping. Sprinter Steffen Radochla achieved a total of eleven podium positions. He finished second in the German championships in Sangerhausen and celebrated his only win of the season in Portugal during the Volta ao Alentejo . The most successful Nutrixxion rider in 2010 was Sebastian Forke , who won the overall standings and all stages except the prologue on a tour in Poland. Finally, Grischa Janorschke closed the racing season with a victory in South Korea at the Tour de Seoul at the end of October .
