Oğuzeli (formerly Kızılhisar , German: red castle ; Kurdish تلبشار Tilbişar ) is a city and at the same time the name of a district in the Turkish province of Gaziantep in southeastern Anatolia . The city of Oğuzeli has 17,014 and the district 28,844 inhabitants (as of 2012). Oğuzeli is located in the southeast of the province and borders the Kilis Province and Syria . Oğuzeli has been a district since 1946. At the same time, it was renamed to its current name.
The well-known crusader castle Tilbeşar is located in Oğuzeli .
