Worth seeing

About 20 km south of İslahiye is the Hittite sculpture workshop of Yesemek . Seven kilometers to the east is the Tilmen Höyük settlement hill , where, among other things, a Middle Hittite palace was excavated. About ten kilometers north, near the road to Nurdağı , near the village of Zincirli, there is another archaeological site, the citadel of the late Hittite-Aramaic principality of Sam'al . Two late Hittite steles, İslahiye 1 and İslahiye 2 , were found in an Islamic cemetery on Mount Kazdağ near İslahiye in 1940 . They are now on display in the Adana Archaeological Museum .
