Former railway lines
On July 1, 1951, OVAG became the owner of the small train and trolleybus operations and, on August 1, 1955, also took over its management.
Goods traffic was operated on the railway line between Niederseßmar and Talbecke until October 1, 1956 . After that, OVAG only had a siding around 400 meters in length between Niederseßmar and a cement works until April 12, 1965 .

trolleybus
Gradually, from the 1940s, the rail traffic of the Gummersbacher Kleinbahnen decreased. On November 25, 1948, a six-kilometer trolleybus route through the city of Gummersbach was put into operation between Dieringhausen and Niederseßmar . It was extended on the one hand on May 17, 1953 from Niederseßmar to Gummersbach and on the other hand from October 4, 1953 from Niederseßmar to Derschlag and replaced the tram that only ran from Derschlag to Dümmlinghausen from May 18 to October 4. In 1954 the trolleybus route from Derschlag to the city limits of Bergneustadt was extended . This 17 kilometer long route network with two lines was converted to bus and coach operation on September 30, 1962. Passenger traffic from Dümmlinghausen to the Genkel estuary had ended in 1950. Among other things, five trolleybuses of the type ÜHIIIs were used , they had the road numbers 33 to 37 and were handed over to the Aachen trolleybus after the electrical operation was discontinued .
