The Obere Steinbach is a right tributary of the Sailaufbach in the district of Aschaffenburg in the Bavarian Spessart .

The Obere Steinbach rises north of the quarry on the Hartkoppe in the Sailaufer Forst . It flows south to Sailauf . There it flows into the Sailaufbach .

The Obere Steinbach has the suffix to distinguish it from the nearby Lower Steinbach .
