Obergrünbach is a district of the Rohr market in Lower Bavaria in the Lower Bavarian district of Kelheim .
The place is just under two kilometers northeast of the core town of Rohr in Lower Bavaria on the Laaberberg district .
The nameless ditch in the valley of which the village is located rises here and flows a good two kilometers east near Oberndorf into the Große Laber . The road that opens up the town also runs through its valley.
history
From 1818 to 1973 the place belonged to the municipality of Laaberberg, which was completely incorporated into the Rohr market in Lower Bavaria on January 1, 1974.

- The neo-Gothic court chapel (Obergrünbach 2), built in 1878, is a rectangular building with a pitched roof and a retracted choir closed on five sides . The ridge turret wears a pointed helmet . It was renovated in 1986.
