Oberschauersberg is a village and a cadastral municipality of the Steinhaus municipality in the Wels-Land district in Upper Austria .
The village of Oberschauersberg is located north of Steinhaus on the eastern slope of the Aiterbach valley and has 436 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2020). In addition to the one-family housing estate Oberschauersberg, the village includes the Rotte Aiterbach and several individual farms. Only a few houses belong to the cadastral community of the same name, most of the village is in the cadastral community of Steinhaus.
The cadastral community of Oberschauersberg occupies the western part of the Steinhaus community; it is mostly separated from the cadastral community of Steinhaus by the Aiterbach . It covers an area of 14.39 km².
The main area of the district is in the cadastral community.
