Odilo Rottmanner
Odilo Rottmanner , baptismal name: Otto Rottmanner (born November 21, 1841 in Landsberg am Lech ; † September 11, 1907 in Munich ) was a German librarian , theologian and preacher .
Life
Rottmanner was a grandson of the philosopher Karl Rottmanner and great-grandson of the agrarian reformer Simon Rottmanner . He was a preacher of the Benedictine Abbey of St. Boniface in Munich and was considered a clever confessor and soul guide both by simple Catholics and by the Wittelsbach family .
