Look at ogres

Oger is a former French commune with 561 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2015) in the Marne department in the Grand Est region (before 2016 Champagne-Ardenne ). It was part of the canton of Vertus-Plaine Champenoise ( Avize until 2015 ) in the Épernay arrondissement . The inhabitants are called ogiats .

On January 1, 2018, Oger merged with Gionges , Vertus and Voipreux to form the Commune nouvelle Blancs-Coteaux .

geography

Oger is about 36 kilometers south of Reims . Ogre is a major place in the production of champagne .
