Okan Erdoğan (born September 29, 1998 in Bremen ) is a German football player who is under contract with Preußen Münster .

Career

Erdoğan began playing football in his hometown of Bremen at BSC Hastedt when his father was a youth coach there. From the U9 to U12, Erdoğan then played in the youth at Werder Bremen , and subsequently went through the junior teams of SC Weyhe , Blumenthaler SV and the Jugendförderverein Nordwest eV (a cooperation between the two Oldenburg clubs VfB and VfL).

At the beginning of the 2017/2018 season he moved to VfB Oldenburg in the Regionalliga Nord , where he made his first appearances in the men's division. In the summer of 2019 he moved to SC Preußen Münster in the third division, where he made his first appearance in professional football on July 31 in the away game against MSV Duisburg .

Life

Erdoğan's ancestors come from the Turkish city of Edirne . His brother Efkan, who is two years older than him, plays football semi-professionally.
