Simon Scherder (born April 2, 1993 in Dreierwalde ) is a German soccer player . He has been playing for the first men's team in Preußen Münster since 2012 .

Career

Scherder was born in Dreierwalde , a district of the town of Hörstel , and began playing football at the local SV Brukteria Dreierwalde before joining the youth department of Prussia Münster at the age of 13 .

The central defender played in the youth teams until the summer of 2012, but he trained with the pros in the 2011/12 season and was even in a third division match, but was not used. From summer 2012 Scherder was a regular in the first team squad. In the first half of the 2012/13 season, however, he was only twice on the field. In the second half of the season there were two more missions. In the 2013/14 season he is a regular player in central defense after changing coach to Ralf Loose and scored his first goal in the third division on October 6, 2013 against Chemnitzer FC .
