Oldřichovice (Polish Oldrzychowice , German Oldrzichowitz ) is a district of the city of Třinec in the Czech Republic . It is four kilometers south of the city center of Třinec and belongs to the Okres Frýdek-Místek .
geography
Oldřichovice is located in the foothills of the Beskids on the Tyrka river . The Malý Kozinec (653 m) and the Malý Javorový (945 m) rise to the south.
Neighboring towns are Závist in the north, Lyžbice in the northeast, Vendryně and Karpentná in the east, Zaolší, Do Olše and Do Madry in the southeast, Podgrúň and Tyra in the south, Podvrch in the southwest, Rovňa, Rovné and Guty in the west and Záhůří, Vrchy and Nebory in the Northwest.
history
The first written mention of Oldřichovice was in 1305 in the tithe register of the Wroclaw diocese . The Teschener Kammer was the owner of the place for a long time . In 1619 Oldřichovice consisted of 45 properties. The residents were Protestant and parish to Guty . Recatholization began after the Thirty Years' War. From 1644 the newly created Pasekarensiedlung Tyra came to the Oldřichovice cadastre. Until the Josefin Tolerance Patent, the part of the inhabitants who had remained loyal to the Protestant denomination gathered secretly on the Godula . After the end of the state Catholicism, a Protestant parish was established again in 1782, which joined the parish of Bystřice .
After the abolition of patrimonial Oldrzichowitz formed a community in the Teschen district from 1850 . In 1869 a brick school building was built to replace a previous wooden building.
After the establishment of Czechoslovakia , the place in the Olsa area was one of the objects of dispute in the Polish-Czechoslovak border war . From 1920 Oldrichowitz was part of the Český Těšín District. After the Munich Agreement , Oldrzychowice came to Poland in 1938 and after the conquest by the German Reich, Oldrzichowitz belonged to the Teschen district from 1939 to 1945 . After the end of the Second World War, the place came back to Czechoslovakia. After the dissolution of the Okres Český Těšín, the place came to the Okres Frýdek-Místek at the beginning of 1961. In 1980 it was incorporated into Třinec . Until 1994, the village was officially run as the Třinec IX-Oldřichovice district. In 1991 the place had 2794 inhabitants. In 2001 the village consisted of 754 houses in which 3063 people lived.
