The team dressage at the 1936 Olympic Games in Berlin took place on August 12th and 13th on the Maifeld , next to the Olympic Stadium.

Competition format

No separate exercises were ridden for the team competition, but the results achieved in the individual competition were also counted as results for the team competition. A dressage task should be completed by each athlete within 17 minutes, with half a point deducted for each second over the time limit. There were 40 different movements during one round. For each movement, each of the five judges gave a score from 0 to 10. This score was multiplied by the movement coefficient.
