Liechtenstein took part in the 1976 Winter Olympic Games in the Austrian Innsbruck with six male and three female athletes participate.
Since 1936 , it was Liechtenstein's eighth participation in the Winter Olympics .
Flag bearer
The alpine skier Ursula Konzett , at the age of 16 the youngest participant from Liechtenstein, carried the flag of Liechtenstein during the opening ceremony in the Bergisel Stadium.
Medals
For the first time, athletes from Liechtenstein were also able to win medals at the Olympic Games . With two bronze medals won Liechtenstein finished in 14th place in the medal table .
