Omar Epps
Omar Hashim Epps (born July 23, 1973 in Brooklyn , New York City , New York ) is an American actor and musician .
Life
Epps' mother is an elementary school teacher, he has a sister. Epps attended Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music and Art and New York High School for the Performing Arts . He has been married to Keisha Spivey since 2004.
Epps appeared as a recurring supporting actor in the third season (1996-1997) of the successful and long-running television series Emergency Room . In 1997 he received the Silver Nymph Award of the Festival de Télévision de Monte-Carlo for the TV feature film Deadly Voyage . From 2004 to 2012 he occupied the position of Dr. Eric Foreman in the Fox series Dr. House played a leading role, for which he was nominated several times for the Image Award and which he won twice. Since 2016 Epps has played the Secret Service agent Isaac Johnson in the series Shooter .
In 2018 he was appointed to the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences , which awards the Oscars every year.
