Omloop Vlaamse Scheldeboorden

The Omloop van de Vlaamse Scheldeboorden is a Belgian cycling race .

The Belgian one-day race was previously known as the Omloop van de Wase Scheldeboorden . The first event in 1969 was won by Willy In't Ven . Since then, the race has been held annually at the end of September. It mainly runs through the municipalities of Kruibeke and Bazel in the Waasland region . The race has been part of the UCI Europe Tour since 2005 and is classified in category 1.1. So far, two German professional cyclists have entered the list of honor: Dennis Kraft as second in 2004, Danilo Hondo as winner in 2006.
