action

Martichoux got on the passenger train like every day to go to work. He wants to get off at Cateau-Cambrésis , but the timetable has changed. The train no longer stops in Cateau-Cambrésis, but goes straight through to Desvres . Martichoux is desperate and not just because he has not bought an extra ticket for the longer route. He would have to take a bus from Desvres to Cateau-Cambrésis and be late for work. This would mean his termination as he has already received two warnings. The termination in turn would also mean the end of his marriage. The ticket inspector can't help Martichoux, but takes him to driver Errol. Due to the electronics, he cannot stop the train unexpectedly, but Martichoux offers to reduce the speed to 10 km / h at the Cateau-Cambrésis stop. Both count down a countdown and Martichoux manages to jump off the train and run next to the wagons in order not to stumble. The passengers applaud, but a man in the next car heaves Martichoux back into the car at the last second - he thought it was running after the train and thinks he helped him not to miss the car. Martichoux remains perplexed.
